L-Citrulline malate powder is a compound of the amino acid citrulline with malic acid. Citrulline is the final stage in the conversion of arginine into nitric oxide. That is, taking citrulline gives a more powerful and faster effect, without intermediate transformations. As a precursor of arginine, citrulline malate participates in the synthesis of nitric monoxide in the vascular endothelium and improves peripheral blood flow.
